# A race track

**Think of it as a race track.** An AI coding agent is a fast car. yokoten is the track
it runs on. The guardrails stop a mistake from becoming a wreck (the guard). The racing
line shows the next turn, one stage at a time (the guide). And every crash makes every
track safer: when one project learns a lesson, every project gets the check (*yokoten*).
