> How to reach the yokoten project: a GitHub issue for questions, ideas and bugs, a private report for a security problem, and an email address for reports about behavior.

## Questions, ideas and bugs

Open an issue in the [yokoten repository on GitHub](https://github.com/yokoten-labs/yokoten/issues). Search first: someone may have asked already. For a bug, say what you ran, what happened, what you expected, and the version (`npx yokoten version`). For an idea, say the problem it solves. Issues are public, so leave out anything private, such as keys, emails or server names.

## A security problem

Please don’t open a public issue. Report it privately: in the repository’s Security tab, choose [Report a vulnerability](https://github.com/yokoten-labs/yokoten/security/advisories/new). Only the project’s owner sees the report, and you’ll usually get an answer within a week. The [security policy](https://github.com/yokoten-labs/yokoten/blob/main/.github/SECURITY.md) says what counts as a vulnerability. The same address is in [security.txt](https://yokoten.app/.well-known/security.txt).

## Behavior

The project has a [code of conduct](https://github.com/yokoten-labs/yokoten/blob/main/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md). To report a problem with someone’s behavior in the project’s issues, pull requests or other spaces, write to [conduct@yokoten.app](mailto:conduct@yokoten.app). A report there is not public.

## Contributing

Pull requests are welcome. [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/yokoten-labs/yokoten/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md) explains how to report a problem or send a change: start with an issue, so the change can be talked through before you write it. The full rules the project works by, for people and agents alike, are in [AGENTS.md](https://github.com/yokoten-labs/yokoten/blob/main/AGENTS.md).

## What there isn’t

There is no support email, chat or phone line, and no sales team: yokoten is a free tool, not a service. The one email address, conduct@yokoten.app, is only for reports about behavior. For everything else, GitHub is the place to reach the project. What you write there is public, except a security report.
